Alcohol Resistance Fluoro Protein Foam (AR FP)
SAFEGUARD Alcohol Resistance Fluoro Protein Foam (AR FP)
SAFEGUARD Alcohol Resistance Fluoro Protein Foam (AR FP) is formulated with protein hydrolysate, solvent, special type fluorocarbon surfactant, biopolymer, metal salts and preservatives to achieve fire performances on polar solvent fuel.
BRAND & TYPE:
SAFEGUARD AR-FP, Type: 3/3
SAFEGUARD AR-FP, Type: 3/6
SAFEGUARD AR-FP produce a homogeneous and cohesive stable foam blanket on the fuel surface that has excellent heat resistance & fast extinguishing properties including post fire security. It is suitable for extinguishing & securing Class-B fires involving Non-polar fuel like gasoline, crude oil, diesel, kerosene and polar fuel like IPA, Methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, acetone etc. as 3%.It can be used with fresh, brackish & sea water. It is compatible with all dry chemical powders extinguishing agent.
It is used in high risk areas where fuel and chemicals are stored, processed, or transported. Typical applications include fuel storage tanks, process areas, power stations, marine terminals and offshore platforms. It is extensively used for tank fire protection.
SAFEGAURD AR-FP is easily proportioned using conventional standard proportioning equipment such as portable and fixed In-line Inductors, hand line nozzles/branch pipes with pick-up tubes, balanced pressure bladder tank proportioners around the pump type proportioners etc.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL & CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
